Student Life
The educated must think of life not in exclusion, but life in society, in fellowship with humanity. To be educated is therefore to be civilised, to be universal, to be responsible for all, to do all for the glory of God's creation.
At Nava Nirman, we strive to impart a holistic approach where every child is seen as a special individual with his own outlook, talent and creativity; We believe that education should unlock the fulness of life, talent and genius, and create a vision for tomorrow.
The "E3@Nava Programme" aims at 'Enrichment', 'Empowerment' and 'Excellence'. It is the initiative under which the Performing Arts, Fine Arts and Physical Education Departments function. The Programme includes 'Learning Expeditions', Workshops, Life Skills Classes and the Career Talks Series. The Activity Clubs, Home Science and Work Experience too form part of this initiative.
To create a healthy sense of competition among the students, we follow the house system. This encourages team spirit and discipline in all facets of their education. Each pupil is assigned to one of the four houses. Every house is led by the combined leadership of the House Teacher and the Student Leaders.
To inculcate the spirit of team work and to hone creativity, on a regular basis, students of the different houses work together in their respective teams to present in the form of a 'House Board' their interpretation and thoughts, on topics of human interest assigned to them. This provides an impetus to the children to widen their knowledge.
House points may be earned through the participation and excellence in the various arts, cultural, sports activities organised on campus. However, for acts of indiscipline, points will be deducted.
